Dear Minnesota Instructors:

The USCA has recently established a new program to identify regional coordinators to improve and better coordinate training and instruction.  As the newly appointed Training and Instruction Coordinator for the state of Minnesota, my role will be to:

• Serve as a liaison between the USCA and the local clubs within the corresponding state/region concerning the provision of training and instruction course offerings and facilitate the provision of quality courses.

• Serve as the primary point of contact concerning the provision of instructional clinics within the corresponding state/region and facilitate the provision of desired instructional offerings.

My first plan in this new role is to survey instructors across our region to learn more about who is involved in instruction, what types of instruction are going on in the clubs, and what instructors feel is needed to strengthen and improve instruction in our region. 

If you are a member of a club in the Minnesota region, and you are involved with instruction in any way in your club, even informally, please take this survey!  Results from the survey will help me determine how I can best serve our region in my new role.  I will also be presenting the results from this survey at this summer's Member Services Conference in Bismark ND on July 16 and 17th 2008.
